If you have curly hair, maintaining a curly bob can be a challenge. But with the right tips, it’s definitely possible. Here are six tips to help you keep your curly bob looking its best.

1. Use a curly hair product

Curly hair can be hard to manage, but with some effort, you will find that it is not as difficult as it seems. Curls come in all shapes and sizes so there are products for every type of curl. The best way to maintain your curls is by using a curly hair product like Curl Keeper or mousse which will help keep the frizz down and give your curls more definition.

2. Avoid using a brush

If you’ve been brushing your hair for years, it might be time to stop.

Brushing is one of the worst things you can do to your curly bob. Why? Because when we brush our hair, we are putting a lot of friction on the surface and breaking down the protein structure which causes frizz and flyaways. And if that weren’t bad enough, in order to get out all those tangles caused by brushing, we need to rinse with plenty of water or else they will just tangle back up again! So what should you do instead? Simple: use a wide-toothed comb or a natural bristle brush in order to detangle curls without causing breakage.

3. Don’t shampoo every day

Curly hair is a blessing and a curse. It’s beautiful, but it can be hard to tame. And shampooing daily isn’t the answer… in fact, it might make your curls frizzier than ever! Here are 6 tips for maintaining that curly bob:  -Don’t wash your hair every day  -Use conditioner or oil on dry hair after washing instead of styling products  -Brush with a wide tooth comb or use fingers to detangle wet hair before drying (useful if you have long locks)  -Experiment with different curl patterns by using braids, buns, headbands, etc.  -Shampoo less often or switch up the type of shampoo you use -Swap out traditional hair products for curl-specific formulas

4. Use a diffuser when you blow dry your hair

If you have curly hair, using a diffuser when you blow dry your hair can help to maintain your curls. A diffuser will help to distribute the air more evenly, which will help to reduce frizz and keep your curls looking their best.

5. Don’t over-style your hair

One of the best ways to maintain curly bob is to not over-style it. When you over-style your hair, you are putting unnecessary stress on it and this can lead to frizziness and/or breakage. Try to keep your styling routine to a minimum and only do what is absolutely necessary. This will help keep your hair looking its best.

6. Don’t use a lot of products

Curly hair is beautiful and it takes a lot of work to maintain. But the good news is that with just a few simple tips, you can have gorgeous curls from morning to night. Here are six simple tips for curly hair care that will make your life easier:

  • Don’t use too many products
  • Use conditioner on your scalp as well as on the rest of your hair
  • Keep your curls in shape by using pins or clips when they’re damp and letting them air dry naturally
  • Shampoo less often (every other day) because over shampooing dries out natural oils which can lead to frizziness and breakage. Instead use a moisturizing deep conditioning treatment every time you wash your hair. And if you do need to shampoo, use a light conditioner as a co-wash
  • Avoid using heat styling tools, or if you must use them, make sure to use a heat protectant first
